The name of the quest is “The Whispering Door” I don’t remember exactly how I started the quest but I think it was by asking about rumors and work at bars and inns. You can’t. Not on the 360 version, anyway. It’s only possible to get a divorce through console commands on the PC.
Hmph… it seems the creators of Skyrim forgot to include the ability to divorce as well as marry. I wouldn’t be surprised if all of them are single, meaning that they never been married and didn’t realize that divorces exist.

The majority of spouse options are Nords and Imperials, with a some Elves, Bretons, Orcs and Argonians mixed in. However there are no Khajiit spouses which makes sense because the majority of Khajiit in Skyrim are traders or travelers from Elsweyr and probably have families back home.

Spouses can cook homemade meals for you once a day that will heal you. Unlike in real life, marrying someone for their material wealth in Skyrim should be your priority.
